System Requirements
- Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit editions), with latest service packs
- Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64
- 2 GB of RAM
- 1 GB of hard disk space
- 1280 × 768 or higher monitor resolution
- DVD drive for installation by disc
- Mouse or tablet
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 or higher
- Internet connection required for CorelDRAW Standard Membership, performance and stability updates, online content, and some features, such as QR Codes, ConceptShare, Content Exchange
Installation
Before installing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7
- Make sure that your system date and time are set correctly.
- Close all applications, including all virus detection programs and applications
that are open in the system tray or on the Windows taskbar. Not doing so
may increase the installation time and interfere with installation.
- Make sure that you have enough free disk space available on the drive
where you want to install the applications.
- Close all running programs
- Delete the contents of your system's
TEMP folders to avoid file and memory conflicts. [C:\Documents and Settings\<Administrator>\Local
Settings\Temp] and [C:\<WINNT>\Temp]
- Install CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 in its own directory to avoid conflicts
with previous versions.
Network/Workstation
- For network administrators, a Network Deployment Guide is available
to organizations that purchase multiple licenses of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite
X7. For more information, contact Corel's Licensing Department or Customer
Service.
Installing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7
Before you begin, read "Before installing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7" above.
- Insert the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 disc in the DVD drive.
If the Autorun screen does not appear automatically, go to My Computer, select the DVD drive, and then double-click setup.exe.
- Follow the instructions for installing the application.
Uninstalling CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7
To uninstall CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 (Windows 7)
- On the Windows taskbar, click Start > Control panel, and then click Programs and Features.
- Double-click CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 in the list of programs.
- In the installation wizard, enable the Remove option.
If you want to keep your user files such as preferences, presets, user-created fills, and customized files, leave the Remove user files check box disabled.
To uninstall CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 (Windows 8)
- On the Start screen, hold down, or right-click one of the applications included in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7.
- Tap or click Uninstall to open the Programs and Features page of the Control Panel.
- Select CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X7 from the list, and choose Uninstall/Change.
- In the installation wizard, enable the Remove option.
If you want to keep your user files such as preferences, presets, user-created fills, and customized files, leave the Remove user files check box disabled.
Corel CONNECT and Video Tutorials
- The most recent Windows updates and Microsoft .NET Framework are required
for Corel CONNECT and the video tutorials to function properly.
Trial, Academic, and OEM Versions
Not all components are available in our Trial, Academic, and OEM versions.
Unavailable components may include Corel applications, features, third-party
utilities and extra content files. However, some of these components may still
be referred to within the applications and within the documentation.
Technical Support
Certain versions of Corel products - including OEM, "white box," jewel case (CD or DVD only), trial, and academic versions - are not eligible for technical support.
However, all versions of Corel products have access to the following Web-based support resources:
